I take everything a new student might need and put it in a Ziploc baggie. I put these baggies in my filing cabinet. When I get a new student, I pull one out and it has everything they need. I’m not running around during my conference time trying to get everything together. It’s so helpful and takes no time at all.
I love this new student bags idea from Marcy @ Saddle Up for 2nd Grade . Now that the new year has started, I know I will get new students. I am always scrambling around the morning they arrive trying to get all their paperwork together. I am definitely going to implement this teacher life hack.
